Tap on highlighted terms to inspect classical root (धातु), grammatical case, and philosophical clarity:

Even on the eve of war, Rama states the basic dharma. The four rules — do not steal, do not cause hurt, do not violate another's relationship, do not harm except in defence — are the four pillars of social peace. Ravana violated all four when he abducted Sita. The war that follows is not an exception to dharma but its enforcement. Rama does not enjoy the war; he prosecutes it as duty.

Simple explanation

Editorial explanation, not scripture

Modern reflection

Editorial reflection, not scripture

शोध संदर्भResearch context · not scriptureComparative Research Noteशोध टिप्पणी

A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
