Tap on highlighted terms to inspect classical root (धातु), grammatical case, and philosophical clarity:

The Chandogya Upanishad declares "Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma" — all this is Brahman indeed. This is the foundational statement of non-duality: everything that exists is Brahman. The teaching continues with the method of negation — "neti neti" (not this, not this) — to point to what cannot be described. Brahman is not any object, not any quality, not any limitation. It is the reality that remains when all limitations are negated.

Simple explanation

Editorial explanation, not scripture

Modern reflection

Editorial reflection, not scripture

A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
