Tap on highlighted terms to inspect classical root (धातु), grammatical case, and philosophical clarity:

The Shvetashvatara presents a hierarchy: there are many lords, many gods, many rulers — but there is ONE who is supreme over all. That supreme is Maheshvara (the Great Lord). This is significant: the text does not deny the existence of other deities but reveals a highest principle that encompasses them all. It is philosophical monotheism arising from within a polytheistic framework.

Simple explanation

Editorial explanation, not scripture

Modern reflection

Editorial reflection, not scripture

(Fundamental Symmetries and Laws of Physics)

A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
